Louis Charles Pillivuyt established Pillivuyt Porcelain factory in the Berry region in the centre of France 1818. Today the company remains in the same town of Mehun-sur-Yèvre as it was founded.
We are Larry and Margaret, founders and owners of 3rdfinds. We both come from Europe and have lived on four continents throughout the years. 3rdfinds is the reflection of our interests and our background. The idea of the company was born from the appreciation and desire to preserve the beauty and history. Especially the history of art and craft of the people who lived before us.
We handpick and select our vintage and antique treasures from estate sales, estate auctions, and flea markets. We approach all the estates with the utmost respect and gratitude for people who left those magnificent pieces behind.
Those little gems were once curated, loved, cherished, and cared for by their owners. Our goal and dream is to assure a continuous stewardship for those unreplaceable objects.
We source our antiques and vintage items from grand homes, magnificent mansions, and breathtaking estates in our region, where special attention was given to objects of very high quality and exceptional beauty.
