This Baker Furniture Regency Style Center Table is a beautifully crafted example of classic American furniture inspired by the elegance of early 19th-century English Regency design. Renowned for exceptional quality and timeless craftsmanship, Baker Furniture created this sophisticated piece using richly figured flame mahogany veneers arranged in a dramatic sunburst pattern radiating from a contrasting central medallion with decorative inlay.
The 46-inch round top is supported by a turned pedestal that flows into four gracefully splayed saber legs, each finished with original solid brass caps and brass casters, providing both refined style and practical mobility. The warm hand-rubbed mahogany finish highlights the striking grain and exceptional veneer work, making this table a beautiful focal point in a living room, library, entry hall, or sitting area.
The underside retains both the original Baker Furniture metal medallion and the "Made in the United States of America by Baker Furniture Craftsmen" label, confirming its authenticity and American manufacture.
Presented in excellent vintage condition, the table retains its original finish with beautifully preserved veneers, rich color, and only light age-appropriate wear. The brass hardware is original, and the table is structurally sound and ready for use.
A versatile and elegant statement piece, this Baker center table blends classical Regency styling with the superior craftsmanship that has made Baker Furniture one of America's most respected luxury furniture makers.
