Elegant mid-century two-tier serving or bar cart featuring a beautifully aged brass frame designed in the form of bamboo. Dating to approximately the 1950s–1960s, the cart combines the glamour of Hollywood Regency design with the light, exotic character of faux-bamboo furniture popular in sophisticated European and American interiors of the period.

The elongated oval frame is fitted with two clear glass shelves, each surrounded by a delicate brass gallery and accented beneath with understated circular geometric detailing. Four tall faux-bamboo uprights rise into generously proportioned curved handles at either end, giving the cart an unusually graceful silhouette while making it practical for serving.

The cart rests on four distinctive cream-colored ball casters with brass centers, allowing it to be moved easily from room to room.

The brass retains an attractive original aged patina, with oxidation, spotting, surface wear and color variation consistent with decades of use. Rather than detracting from the piece, this naturally developed surface gives the cart the warmth and character particularly desirable in authentic vintage furnishings. The glass also exhibits expected signs of age and use.

A versatile piece that can function as a traditional cocktail or drinks trolley, serving cart, tea cart, or even an elegant display table. Its narrow 15-inch depth makes it especially useful where space is limited.
